Add a Tub Surround to Protect Your Bathroom Walls

Water damage, mold, & mildew: exposed walls around your bathtub can create large and very expensive problems. The simple solution is to install a tub surround. Tub walls also often come with storage shelves for your soaps and shampoos and can transform your basic tub into a tub/shower for improved functionality. For new construction, one piece surrounds work great, but for new bathrooms in existing homes or for bathroom remodels, multi-piece surrounds are needed as they are lighter and easier to carry into place. Tub surrounds come in a variety of materials, including economical polystyrene, easy-to-install acrylic, and durable composite. How does your tub look? If it is at the end of its life you should consider replacing it as well. Instead of a tub surround, look for tub/showers with integrated walls for a total fix.

You can shop quality in-stock tub surround options from brands like MAAX here or in our renovation showroom. If you don’t see quite what you’re looking for, Just Ask J&H about our special order program. Or consider a custom tile option instead.
